"In the name of God, Amen.We whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread sovereign Lord, King James, by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France and Ireland king, defender of the faith, etc., having undertaken, for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith, and honor of our king and country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the Northern parts of Virginia, do by these presents solemnly and mutually in the presence of God, and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic, for our better ordering and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions, and offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the colony, unto which we promise all due submission and obedience."

Modern day slavery

While we think that there is no slavery in places anymore there actually is. This type of slavery takes place day to day and done from day and night time. This occurs in Pakistan. Pakistani officials have not reported any signs and/or people that have been holding people as slaves. They were treated like animals. Anyone who stopped or, didn’t want to work anymore got beaten. They get paid a really poor amount of money. They make up to twelve dollars a day (maybe less).

            People/Pakistanis have been working at down to the age of four months old. It all started when the Pakistan people got three district courts to declare that it is illegal the depts that the landlords were using to compel the workers into servitude. Now since it’s illegal to have someone be their servant/slave the landlords got mad so then they forced the Pakistanis to work for them automatically.

A third of the fractions of slaves are children. The ones who are four months old or younger are landless poor children. One of the have been killed too. So far throughout the whole slavery, only one person has died. That slave died purposely by one of the slave owners. He killed the slave in order to scare all the other slaves (and threaten them) so they would not escape, attempt to escape and, to get them working faster.

            They also killed that hostage so the other people would drop the cases and forget about it and return to work. The United States of America made a law that if a country is ranked on the trafficking list for three years will automatically go to tier three which could make the country face sanctions. When a place sanctions a country (place, etc.) it means that everything that the states government does has to be showed to the country that is sanctioning it. It also means that if we sanction that country, we dictate all the ethical choices they do.       

People who are not slaves are sometimes homeless and poor. Refugees live in really crowded rooms. For example; one person said that he had to move his family of ten inside a tiny two room house. When he moved in there was already twelve people inside of their including; little children running around the house bear foot. Their living conditions and food they eat are not enough to survive such a long time.

            Their home had mud walls and the toilet they used to use the bathroom was just a hole in the floor that serves as a makeshift toilet. Also the children had signs on their face that were brown looking spots on their face. Both of those are evidence of malnutrition. Now since more homeless Pakistanis are living slightly better, worse or the same as this; there is a big rate in which people are getting into Pakistani hospitals at fast rates.

Also where all the pakistanian refugees are moving to, there are signs of terrorists throughout the location. They have reported it but the officials are regardless of what happens. This makes it an even more of a dangerous place where a pakistanian refugee camp carrying a lot of refugees inside of them. Both ways, a refugee or a slave, are bad conditions for anybody to live in. Refugee`s because of all the malnutrition and slave because of, how they treat the slaves and feed them.

            People who landowners have to force to do work end up in private prisons. Pakistan made an emancipation law in nineteen-ninety-two. They promised to free all slaves but many, many people are still slaves till this very same day. It mostly exists now because, the landowners do it secretly so nobody would know about it. They said the police is using a blind eye on the issue otherwise, if they don’t see it, they don’t believe it.   

So far Obama`s ambassador said that Pakistan should keep the promise they did in the emancipation in nineteen-ninety-two. Also, that they are looking for ways to help their government stop people from holding people as slaves. The United States of America is doing a great effort in part of stopping slavery in Pakistan<

            Courts order for the cops there was to free more than a dozen hostages. Obama`s human rights secretary said that there are at least 3 landowners with 170 farm workers each working as slaves. “Slavery is not only found in Asia. But it is found throughout communities in the south of Asia” said Luis Cdebaca. We are all humans. We deserve the respect that we need for nobody is greater than anybody else in the world, and nothing less.

Japanese cram schools

Parents are afraid of not sending their child to cram schools because, they are afraid that they might get second rate jobs in the future (second rate means a job that doesn’t give a sufficient amount of money. Parents have their children in cram schools at early age because of paranoia.

            A teacher said that the cram schools are clever and very good in appealing kids. Also, three year olds need to learn how to swing in seesaws. These children are like half babies, half adult. They know many complex things we don’t know. They can also do more complex activities that kids that are older than them can’t do neither.

Japanese students are getting into cram schools every year earlier and earlier of age.  Children are now starting to apply for cram schools at even 2 years old! Ate even an age of three children and families begin cram school and exams to determinate if they can retire from a very good job sixty years later. Getting into a good preschool or kindergarten counts a lot towards what will happen to you in the future for example: getting into a university that you want to get into. To get into a good university, you have to get into a good high school. To get into a good high school, you must study at a good elementary school for example: Yochisha.

            In order to be a real Japanese child, you need to learn how to; put colored chips in sequences, take achievement tests, walk on balance, etc. They need to learn all that before they are four years old! Also the salary they have in their jobs in the future when their in their thirty’s or forty’s to if they went to a cram school or not. If they did they get paid more in their salary.

Even a mother has been bringing her one year old daughter everyday to cram school. She said, “I want to do the best I can as a parent to give my child opportunities. In one cram school the first ninety minutes of class is used to, improve your IQ. If you’re inside of a cram school, everyday you need to take an entrance exam (up to fifteen minutes). An entrance exam is an exam you have to take every day you show up in school in the beginning of class before class begins.    

            The headmaster of Yochisha School said that the preparation of day exams every day makes everyone turn into rivals so then they can make fun of their failure. They also mentioned that cram Schools best and brightest students often end up as working and, being a part of the government or, being people who are important in corporations that end up speaking three languages.  

Another reason they want good educations and children in cram schools in Japan is because, they want to be creative and “intelligent” as the kids are in America. Negative things that come to that is that, children schedules are always packed when they are in cram schools. That is negative because it makes children more tired (as some replied) as in the exact time that they are in school.

            They said students that are more mechanical thinkers often become trained seals or soldiers in the army. Even if you want to be a seal in Japan you need to go to a cram school that teaches those mechanics and other stuff related to that. Each year the students are becoming more physical and surprisingly smart in many astonishing ways.

A mother applied her three year old daughter to gym class and already there she learned how to, jump rope, bounce a ball one-hundred times, run backwards and run in circles and also jump on a mat. Also, a professor at Tokyo university said that, there is no positive effect from cram schools and the exams that they give and that, it would be better for both Japanese child and, society if they didn’t have them in those schools.

            Other experts say that cram school is good and it helps your child but, they say that cram schools would end up taking your child’s ability to think independently away. Most cram schools pay the parents nine thousand dollars a year because of the two and a half hours of instruction every week. Parents also call this, “examination hell” because of the so many exams that they give.   

Life on Mars?

Evidence of life on mars made by scientists:

They think but have really powerful evidence that there use to be many oceans on mars. Where ever there’s water there’s a big chance that there can be life around that area. Also threes possible evidence of islands on mars. Some signs that aliens can be there is that they saw a 2 faces and one heart created on the earth’s surface. It is a sign that maybe advanced humans created it. More evidence of water is that the planet is made out of rocks and pebbles.

 NASA scientists have found sulphates on mars in their recent visit which means more evidence of water which means more evidence of E.T life.

Mars has 53% the diameter of earth and 38% the surface of earth.

People who are against life on mars have evidence too. They think that life cannot live there because it has really thin ozone layers which let ultraviolet radiation get inside of the planet. With ultraviolet radiation a lot of things can’t live like humans, water or plants. Ultraviolet radiation is what gives skin cancer in our planet.

A piece of rock from mars fell on earth when a meteorite hit mars. This rock contains signs of life on mars. It contains fossils and evidence of basic once-living micro-organisms on mars. On the rock they found worm like structures which can be fossilized Martian bacteria. The rocks name was ALH84001. This rock had smaller sized bacteria then the normal human sized bacteria which could mean another type of life form touched it (E.T).  But in the other end this bacterium could have came from a mineral.  

                                                      

                                             

In this picture there is carbonate patterns from a unique life-form. The patterns are very similar to how terrestrial bacteria operate. Carbonate itself is rich in non-living items. These orange things are called orange globs. This orange carbonate glob can have millions of remains of ancient Martian life forms. Magnetite globules were also found here. These were only found on earth. But the tear shape in Martian evidence is only created by bacteria. PAH’s was present in the meteorite that fell from mars which means the bacteria could have been from Antarctica or from that present time in mars.     

                                            

                                           

Bimorphs have also been found on meteorites on mars. That gives a high percentage that life exists or, has once existed on Mars. A bimorphs is a graphical representation on a computer that shows evolution of a life form or a shape showing a living organism.

                      

NASA took decades of planning a manned mission to mars. They took fifty years. From the year 1950 to the year 2000. The first ever manned mission in mars is ship was called Von Braun Mars. Started in the year 1952, Got there in 1965. The missions most leading toward the future is NASA 90 day study and Mars post.

This picture has been going around a lot. Many people think that it’s really fake but some take it as a real situation. Many astronomers have their own theories or beliefs about this. Some say it’s just a figure of a rock. Some people think it’s an actual Martian kneeling down on a rock. This picture was taken in the last months of 2007. The most theory that has disproven it is that in the bottom right corner there is some kind of creature (maybe a human) wearing an astronaut’s helmet. And also they said if you look closely, the guy kneeling down could be wearing a helmet on which gives less proof of aliens on mars.

Last evidence of life in mars is that mars have a polar cap. But the ice caps will never melt at the temperature of -55 C. Apart from the very hot places on mars there is still very cold places on mars. Those areas are like ice because they are nowhere near facing the sun like our south pole (Antarctica). So that means that the ozone layer doesn’t matter at that point because the ice will always stay frozen. And if the ice stays frozen, there is no water.         

Famine in africa

 Famine means hunger and too much hunger means death. This is related to the sixteen thousand children that die a day because of hunger related reasons. That means that one child dies every five seconds. The UN says that now in these days, twenty-six-thousand children die daily…ten thousand more than the normal average. It was recorded that in 2004 an average of almost one billion people earned less than one dollar a day. That’s under the international poverty line. In the modern world 27 percent of children under five years old are severely underweight. Every year more than twenty million babies are born under a normal reborn baby’s weight.

            In two thousand five, ten point one million children died before they sadly reached their fifth birthday. The saddest part is that this all happens only in Africa. HIV and Aids have spread in an epidemic rate. Because that the most people that get these diseases are farmers, there is less food being grown which means that more people will be starving without these farmers. In two-thousand-three, twelve million children were newly made into orphans in Africa and since that date to two-thousand and ten, that number rose up to eighteen million, six-million more than it was eight years ago.

   

With famine there is also poor health in food. Right now there are eight-hundred and twenty million families that are consuming a really little amount of calories. This is important for health and child growth. Kids mostly die in the hot dry weather because they get dehydrated fast and have nothing to eat which will get them light headed; well it goes through a process until that child dies. Hunger is the most extreme type of poverty.

            Only children under five are an offly large amount of malnourished people. They are one-hundred-sixty million children that are under five years old that are malnourished. In 1997 alone three-hundred-thousand children’s lives were saved just because supplementation programs supplied them with vitamin A. This is an example on how many lives we can save if we all try to send healthy food to Africa. It’s estimated that –eight-hundred-million people will be starving in the world but, one-hundred times worse than the people who already died will.

Africa is not the only place that is in this situation. Albania and Bosnia are also undergoing this situation and even some homeless people that we see in the street are experiencing a lot of hunger right now. Bosnia and Albania are both located in Europe. These happen because of other types of situations. Bosnia is experiencing famine because of a war that cost them a lot of money so after that war they didn’t have enough money to buy or plant food for people to eat.

            Albania is also in Europe. It is going through the situation of famine because there was a collapse in communist economies which caused the famine in Albania. This famine was relieved by surpluses in Europe. Iraq is facing a strong famine do to, the destruction of power supplies during the gulf war. And because they have failed to plant crops where Kurds are took from their villages. This also happens because places want to plant foods in other places so then the other places say there’s no problem in that place. Then the places that were going to plant there stopped planting there. And last, famine happens. 

To get rid of the worlds hunger, it would only require thirteen-billion dollars (American dollars). This is the amount of money the Europeans and the United States of America spend each year on perfume. America and Europe spend more money than that in a year on dog food!! It’s an estimated seventeen-billion dollars a year. If we can do that for dog food, what can we do for ours? With the amount of money we have right now, we can cure world hunger. This is a dream a lot of people want right now. Also since one-sixth of the world’s population is going hungry at this very moment right now.

            If we can get rid of world hunger, what else can we get rid of? Many other things is the answer. Just imagine how many people die because of a problem governments don’t really care about to solve. The Government pretends to care but, they end up helping just a little bit of the situation. The world spends more than that amount of money on their military in two days!! If thirteen-billion people donate one dollar or six and a half million people donate to dollars, we can cure world hunger in no time!! U can feed one child a day just donating one dollar. That will give a child in of to eat for a day. If we’re all humans why can’t we help out other humans? Like said by Robert Anson Heinlein (a popular author); “The greatest productive force is human selfishness”. People care about themselves and often times don’t think of others. That’s why the situation in Africa and in all other places going through famine don’t stop. Organizations are trying and trying the best they can and are doing satisfying work. But that’s not good enough; to many people to feed; to much money to get.

Now more and more people are trying to pitch in and stop world hunger. According to this article “Many needs remain in Somalia famine”, world hunger has eased up a little bit. Thanks to the people who donate and support thus cause there is less famine in these places by Africa. But, these people are still known and pronounced with the word famine. This is one good step toward the cause of famine but, it is still not enough to cure as much people as should be cured from this catastrophe. It is now recorded that every three point six seconds (not five like I previously said) a child dies somewhere in the world by, a hunger related reason.

            As said in wfp.org, “famine is the world’s number 1 health risk”. They also stated that there were more hungry people in the world then the combined number of people from, United States of America, Canada and European Union. In these three countries together there are 841,000,000 people. The people who experience and live in famine are a mind blowing amount of 925,000,000 people!! Imagine that mush people starving right now!! Hunger kills more people than AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis do combined. An astonishing amount of one fourth of the world’s population is underweighted because of hunger related reasons. Malnutrition also fails to give iron to people. If there was no Iron deficiency, our world’s population would have an estimated 20% more people to live in it. Iodine deficiency also fails to be consumed which is the major cause of retardation and brain damage. This is affecting 1.9 billion people in the world right now!!        

                One in seven children will go to bed hungry tonight (that counts as one seventh of the world’s population). Woman makes up a little bit more than half the people in this world. But, they also make up 60% of the people in this world who are hungry. There is no food shortage in the world and, there is enough food for everybody it’s just that, some people can’t afford food or live in a place that’s poor and doesn’t have much food supplies. With hunger, brings a many different diseases two as I said earlier, AIDS and stunting. These are a little to all the others that exist.

            Aids are reasons a lot of places are not have as much food supply. A lot of farmers and hunters die because of aids. Especially farmers because they work in the fields and that’s where all the aid viruses spread. Stunting is when a child is born with mental problems and/or retardation. The malnutrition vitamin deficiencies and hunger are one of the most top ten worlds most risky diseases/situations.       

3 Types of bone fractures

The three basic types of bone fractures:

• Green stick fracture: A fracture when a bone is cracked or slightly bent but, not entirely broken. This can cause a lot of pain to the person. This can easily be treated and ready to use if the person is given a cast.                                                   

                                                                

• Compound fracture: This is a fracture when the bone is totally broken and, it also pierces the skin. These most oftenely involve a replacement surgery.

• Complete fractures: Also fractures that involve the whole bone broken but, it doesn't pierce the skin. This also involves replacement surgery.  

Stop Hazing

Bruises and injuries, kids getting into fights. Extreme stunts, humiliating games and activities and cops don’t do anything. They look at the situation with a blind eye. They won’t help until they see that someone can die. The consequences of hazing can be eternal, for this action which is infernal. Nobody wants to get in a fight, so stop hazing, IT’S NOT RIGHT!!

Hazing is a powerful type of situation peer pressure can get you inside of. Hazing is when someone wants to be friends with a certain group or with a certain person. But, to be friends with them, the person will have to do a variety of things that are humiliating, violent, hurtful, etc. It’s Kind of like a gang initiation, but…maybe better or worse. Over years a lot of kids die because of this catastrophe the struck the world. These deaths are mostly caused by suicide, extreme stunts and violent fights. Sometimes because of drugs and/or alcohol abuse. Hazer’s also tell victims to rob or do something bad for them. At the end the victim might end up expelled or mostly end up in jail for a long time.

The other day I was watching a show called, “What would you do”. Their theme for that episode was hazing. They then acted out; one girl, who was the hazer, took three girls outside to do humiliating things. She put shirts and signs on them that said ugly and other inappropriate stuff to bad to say here. She put tape all over their faces and abused them with bottles and bottles of wine. Nobody who passed by cared about the girls being abused, they just passed by quietly without saying a word and, no one even called the cops. In fact, a man just sat down and starting eating to stare at these girls being abused and beaten. When the acting was over the host asked the man why he did that and guess what; “No relevant answer”. Hazing should be stopped, who’d help, Answer; Not enough.

Sure hazing can bring positive effects too. When someone is hazed they can feel; stronger, confident and like they fit in but, is this all worth your; self-esteem, anger and eternal regret. Oops; I forgot all of the other 100’s negative effects like confusion, embarrassment, well, there’s too much to name. So what else can happen; WORSE? Hazing is spreading from kid to kid. Like I said, the police are looking at the situation with a blind eye, if they don’t see it, they don’t believe it.

Hazing is a great way to get rid of self esteem. It’s an ongoing sensation of wrong. If we don’t stop it, it will get worse and worse until; we can’t do anything about it. What will happen next? Stop hazing, it’s not right.
